Cougar Corporation was established in 2018.
Cougar Corporation is a team that is managing WHS and marketing positive school life. A team that is creating a bond that is strong and powerful. Established in 2018, Cougar Corp is on it's way to change the life of WHS. Connecting all students and reminding them of any up coming events, activities, or meetings at Weed High School.
For years, schools everywhere have slipped further and further away from school pride. A positive connection and school family have become only a dream in most schools. Separated in groups, the jocks, popular, music nerds, wannabes and the outcasts, school life has little to no family value. At Weed High School, a brilliant group of striving students has come together to bring the school together as one and strengthen the bond between students and school. The Advanced Entrepreneurship class has designed a Corporation that, not only brings the students together but puts a brand on the school and teaches the essentials of entrepreneurship in the process.
It’s the end of the class and you just got your grade on the test back. You got the highest grade in the class? OWN IT! You got the lowest grade in the class? OWN IT AND IMPROVE! Then it’s the end of the big game, 30 seconds left in overtime and you’re one layup away from winning. Your team wins? OWN IT! Your team loses? OWN IT AND KNOW YOU PLAYED YOUR BEST! You’re late to class? OWN IT! You’re a Weed High School Cougar? OWN IT! Take pride in everything you do at school and for your school. Being from a small school, opportunities aren’t always the easiest to come by, however, when you work your hardest and take pride in your school, scholarships and opportunities are just around the corner. With everything going on in today's society and everyone hiding behind a mask, at the end of the day, you are a Weed High School Cougar, OWN IT!
